This error appeared after we believe the email address was hijacked and tried to send SPAM
We have been able stop the intrusion and subsequent sends using MailEnable Queue Clean Utility, but the "client settings" error in webmail remains.
The attack also continues, user email account gets locked after a few trials. I have tried to stop the perpetrators by country and IP but it seems to have effect.
I have restarted the server. windows 2008 standard r2. Mailenable 10.10
Any help to fix corrupted mail account will be appreciated.
