Postmaster Send NULL loop detected

Postby chalkdust » Sat Jan 21, 2017 12:07 am

Hi I have a setup where I am using the feature that binds all mailboxes to a certain IP.

It works great overall except that messages that are delayed and that are supposed to be sent by the "postmaster" account, the internal message errors are going to "bad mail" with an error that says POSTMASTER send null loop detected.

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that the default is not bound to any particular mailbox and it wants to use "localhost" which wont work because its not bound to any IP. All of my IP's are in use for dedicated mailboxes so I wasnt able to create a "default" mailbox without interfering with other IPs already in use. Do I need to reserve an IP just for the default or can I force them to route through a mailbox that is already in use?
