Migrate from Mailenable to postfix + dovecot +mysql

Postby n00b » Tue Aug 29, 2006 6:57 am

Hi,

Being quite disapointed of my Windows machine (yeah right, it as been the case for years), and now that I have the skills on linux, i'm planing to migrate my mailenable to a linux server with postfix+dovecot and many more.

So first question :
- Is the maildir format of mailenable similar to the unix style ?

Second :
- How can I export my user/password/domain/path to a readable format ?

Regards.

Hi n00b,

Im in exactly same situation as you.

runing mailenable enterprise.
Ive been searching the forums and knowledgebase, but not much help there.

for now ive found a file containing passwords in clear text :-

MRDIR\Config\AUTH.SAV and AUTH.TAB

What ill need to do is manually make the accounts on the new mail server... for the 50 or so accounts spaning accross 10 domains.

Any other way? anyone?

hey n00b if you have found a better solution, please share.
