Calendar and Event Issues

Hello, we have bug using caldav when a calendar event in a series is removed for a week, the whole series is removed instead of just one week one. Can this be fixed?

Hi,

Can you provide more detail how you are accessing the calendar via CalDAV? What CalDAV client are you using? Also what version of MailEnable Enterprise are you running? How was the reoccurring event initially created?

Answers Below:

• Accessing caldav through mac calendar app with our caldav credentials using the server – MAC Calendar app is Version 9
• MailEnable Enterprise 9.75
• Reoccurring event is initially sent from a Microsoft Exchange Online account and Accepted through MAC Mail which ends up on MAC calendar app. Shows correctly all the reoccurring events, once accepted. Once the initiator sends an update cancelling a calendar event for the week or an update it deletes all calendar events from the initially sent reoccurring event instead of just deleting the present week.

I opened a ticket and they found an issue with Thunderbird and caldav. They are working with the developers to find a fix. There is a legitimate issue using caldav and Thunderbird.
