issue sending between 2 servers on same network

Postby boostnek9 » Mon May 29, 2017 2:01 pm

Hi,

I have an issue I'm hoping someone can help me out with.

I have 2 mail servers on the same network. they both have different domains configured in mailenable.

I am trying to forward an email from one servers mailbox to the other server mailbox but the email never seems to make it to the other server.

I can telnet port 25/110 using IP address but not the hostname but when I nslookup with that hostname, I see my DNS server.

Hi,

Use the message tracking utility within the MailEnable administration console under: Servers > Localhost > System > Diagnose > Track Message. Search for the recipient address your sending to and then post up the search results. If you are unable to telnet using host name (MX record) of the remote mail server then you will need to review the DNS records for the receiving domain. Private message me the details and Ill check.
