Postby Thalbert » Fri Dec 18, 2015 6:53 am

Since some days i can´t send email to the following providers gmx.de, gmx.at,gmx.net.
All emails coming back with this details:

MailEnable: Message Delivery Failure.

Reason: ME-E0193: [B011B151D2B4440A882C14228E0C9487.MAI] Message Delivery Failure.

Your message addressed to the target domain (gmx.de) could not be delivered because the mail server responsible for this domain returned a permanent error.

The server returned:

554-No SMTP service
554-Bad DNS PTR resource record.
554 For explanation visit http://postmaster.gmx.com/en/error-messages?ip=85.214.xx.xxx &c=rdns

Hi,

You need to visit: http://postmaster.gmx.com/en/error-messages?ip=85.214.xx.xxx &c=rdns. The error is indicating the domain does not resolve to a valid Reverse DNS record (PTR record) which should point to your MailEnable server and thus the remote server is rejecting your inbound message.
