Hi,

You will need to inspect the SMTP log files to see how the spammer is being granted relay rights to send outbound mail. Most likely via a compromised mailbox password.

Start by reviewing the following articles:

You need also ensure you are on the latest version of MailEnable Standard edition version 9 to eliminate security issues in older versions.

Hi,

How do i check my version?

Please access the MailEnable diagnostic report to determine your version: http://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=me020136

Shall i delete my ID?

Is it your mailbox that is sending out the spam? Is it your mailbox that is used by the spammer to authenticate?

Which is compromised?

You need to check the SMTP log files for this information to see which mailbox is being used to authenticate and being granted relay rights.

will that clear the whole inbox?

Yes if you delete the mailbox it will remove the data.

Perhaps it maybe easier for you to lodge a paid support ticket with MailEnable via the support form and provide access to the server via RDP or Teamviewer so that a technician can review the server settings and log files and provide a more detailed report and advise on how to rectify your problems. You can lodge the ticket via the following link: http://www.mailenable.com/support/SupportRequest.asp
