Hi,

SYSTEM requires full access to the Extensions node. If you set it to deny the service will return the error your seeing in the telnet test.

Hi,

Are you able to inspect the Windows event application log and check for ASP.NET errors that are occurring at the time of the server communication error as it will contain more information. Post the results here.

Hi,

Try and right click on the executable and select "Run as administrator". If that does not help then check the Windows event log to see if there any errors reported relating to the installer.

Hi,

How were the messages purged from the folder? I.e: what email client was used and how does it connect? IMAP, POP, web mail? It looks like the messages were deleted but the "_DIRSIZE.TMP" file in the folder was not updated. Were they removed manually from the folder?

Hi,

You either use MXscan to do the Antivirus scans or MailEnables ClamAV filter. You cant use both as you will most likely have locking issues. Since you are using MXscan for spam filtering just use Mxscans AV scanner and disable ClamAV in MAilEnable.
