UPDATE:

I think that index needed some time to rebuild. It worked finally!! the _change.dty file did it. Thanks.

I tried the following: rename the old _index.xml file in the hope it will reindex but I still could see only 10 emails. Then I put a file in there called _change.dty and then nothing happened. Then I put a file in there called _change.dty after removing the _index.xml file (I just renamed it) and it...

inbox not completely indexed

In one of our email ids with may be 1000s of emails (5.2GB total size), only 10 emails are showing up.
I tried to delete the _index.xml hoping it will be rebuilt, but that doesnt seem to be happening. It still shows only 10 emails. How to fix this?

Thank you. Is there anyway to move Mailenable to another physical server in two steps

Step 1: Move configuration and email ids without the old emails
Step 2: move old emails gradually

Is this possible?

Hi, I have the same issue. Is there an easier way to do this? Is it possible to move just the configuration and email ids over to the new server and move the old emails slowly over a period of time?

Migration

We want to move our mail server to a different location. To copy the entire messages to the new server will take many days. In the mean time, is there a way to a) move only the empty mail boxes to the new server and move the old messages in a phased manner? or b) Is it possible to leave the old mess...

It was a corrupted mailboxes.tab file that caused this. I think the problem is solved.

Hi, I am using enterprise 7.59. The mail boxes in one of our post offices seem to have disappeared although the folders are there in the hard drive, what could have gone wrong suddenly>

Hi, I am using Mailenable enterprise v 7.59 . Mailboxes seems to have disappeared from the admin panel and internal emails are gettign rejected. The folders however are there on the hard drive. Please help

I have disabled firewall
tested telnet and tried to send a message

After giving the subject and two carriage returns I DO NOT GET THe following:

250 Requested mail action okay, completed
QUIT
221 Service closing transmission channel
Connection to host lost.
